Team India has reached Dubai ahead of the Asia Cup 2022 and the players have hit the nets already to brace for the mega event to be held in the United Arab Emirates. India is marching on to the tournament on the back of the splendid ODI series win against Zimbabwe and they will be opening the account for the event against arch-rivals Pakistan on August 28, a day after the season opener.
Virat Kohli, who is getting the feel of his bat after a brief break, started smacking the ball right away as he was seen testifying himself against spin bowling. The batter spent some time greeting players from other nations and enquired about Shaheen Afridi's injury as he met the player during the warm-up sessions.
Rohit Sharma, the Indian skipper, was also seen nailing it in the nets in the video uploaded by the Indian cricket board and he did have some fun time away from the nets. He rode a kick scooter at the end of the practice session and the video was shared by the board yet again to make it go viral.
"Vroooming into the end of practice session - Captain @ImRo45 style," the board tweeted and the tweet saw some hilarious reaction as fans enjoyed their skipper taking some time off to ease the pressure.

Everyone watches the game especially India vs Pakistan: Rohit Sharma
Earlier, the Indian skipper opined on the match against Pakistan and acknowledged the high views that the match gets. He enlightened the fans on the team discussions and said that the focus will be similar to that of any other game. The Mumbai batter added that he would treat Pakistan like any other opposition and highlighted the importance of having such a mindset.
"Everyone watches the game especially India vs Pakistan. Without a doubt, it is a high-pressure game but within the group, we want to create a normal atmosphere and don't want to hype this game within ourselves. For us, it is just a game of cricket. It is important for me and Rahul (Dravid) bhai to tell the players that it's just another opposition," Sharma was quoted as saying.
Rahul Dravid has tested positive for the Asia Cup 2022 and it will be VVS Laxman who will be up to the task in his absence. Under him, India won the series against Zimbabwe of late and he will look to carry on the momentum as a coach along with Indian skipper Rohit Sharma.
