WATCH: Rohit Sharma lashes out at Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya in the dressing room after their early dismissals against Pakistan

Star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has made it to the headlines of social media for many reasons today as India is playing against Pakistan in the super-4 match of the Asia Cup 2022. Skipper Rohit Sharma and team management picked Pant over Dinesh Karthik in the playing XI of India for this match against the men in green.

Although, the 24-year-old disappointed the fans and the management with the bat and could score only 14 runs off 12 balls with only two boundaries to his name. He fell prey to Shadab Khan in the 14^th over of the Indian inning.

Apart from this, there is something that went viral after the dismissals of Hardik Pandya on duck and Rishabh Pant. They both ended up on the receiving end of skipper Rohit Sharma’s anger in the dressing room. The video has gone viral within minutes of being shared by a Twitter user and some other Twitter handles.

Virat Kohli played a brilliant knock for India in the first Innings

Speaking of the match so far, the Indian team posted a total of 181 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Former skipper and senior Virat Kohli played a brilliant half-century knock of 60 runs off 44 balls with four boundaries and a six to his credit. Other than Kohli, skipper Rohit Sharma and senior batter KL Rahul also scored 28-runs each.

On the backs of these knocks, India managed to cross a total of 180+ in the first innings to post a target of 182 runs before the men in green. Vice-captain and leg spinner Shadab Khan scalped two wickets for Pakistan.

While chasing the target, Pakistan scored 37 runs for the loss of one wicket in 5.2 overs. Skipper Babar Azam failed once again and fell prey to young Indian spinner Ravi Bishnoi in the fourth over of the match. Currently, star batter Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman are there in the middle at the individual scores of 17 and 6 runs respectively.
