On 29 January 2023, Melbourne Renegades took on Brisbane Heat in the ongoing Big Bash League. It was a knockout match as both teams were looking to win to face Sydney Sixers in the challenge. The match took place in Melbourne. The winner of that match will face Perth Scorchers in the final.

Speaking of the match, Brisbane Heat won the toss and opted to bowl first. For Melbourne Renegades, Shaun Marsh and Martin Guptill came out to open the innings. But, during their innings, Matt Critchley hit a massive six through a flick shot and that video has now gone viral all over the internet.

Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 15th over of the Renegades’ innings. James Bazley was bowling while Matt Critchley was batting. It was the first delivery of that over that Critchley managed to flick to the leg side. The ball eventually ended at the second deck. However, in the very next ball, he hit another six at the second deck.

Fans were left crazy with such outstanding shots in the match. Speaking of their innings, they scored 162 runs for five wickets in 20 overs. Shaun Marsh scored 82* runs off 53 balls, including nine fours and two sixes. Guptill got out after scoring one run off two balls. Sam Harper scored 22 runs off 21 balls, including two fours and one six. Matt Critchley scored 23 runs off 18 balls, including one four and two sixes.

Jonathan Wells scored 12* runs off four balls, including one six. For Brisbane Heat, Xavier Bartlett took three wickets for 18 runs in his four overs. Along with him, Michael Neser took two wickets for 33 runs in his four overs. As of now, for Brisbane Heat, the skipper Usman Khawaja and Josh Brown have come out to bat for the chase. While Tom Rogers opened the bowling for the Melbourne side.
