Pooran, the Caribbean skipper, opened up the loss and said that the Caribbean had all the chance to win the game. Admitting that his men messed up the game, Pooran hoped to make a comeback in the next game and level the series.

“Got a chance to win the game but we messed it up but we will look to get better. Guys are disappointed, happy the way the guys came out and fought, the important moments we did not capitalise, having said that catches win matches. The guys came off a plane two nights ago,” Pooran said in the post-match interview.

“We have the World Cup Qualifiers as well to play here. Really pleased with how Mayers batted, Cariah on debut and Joseph bowling really well today. Maybe if we had taken the catch in the last over, we could've won, but we learn from it, accept it, embrace it and move on,” he added further.
