WATCH: Kieron Pollard lights up Warner Park as he smashes four sixes in a single over in CPL 2023

The 12th Match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) took place between St Kitts and Nevis Patriots (SNP) and Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR).TKR won the toss and opted to bowl. SNP got off to a wonderful start as Andre Fletcher cracked 32 off 17 balls with three fours and three sixes. Evin Lewis was the first to fall with a score on 43. Sherfane Rutherford smashed an unbeaten 62 off 38 balls with five fours and four sixes. He was helped by Corbin Bosch who hit 30 off 21 balls with three fours and one six.

This helped SNP reach 178-5 in their 20 overs. In the second innings, Nicholas Pooran slammed 61 off 32 balls with five fours and four sixes. Lorcan Tucker hit 36 off 31 balls with three fours and one six.  The match went on and TKR were 120-3 in the 14th over. They needed 76 in the last six overs. Pollard unleashed his fury on Izhasrulhaq Naveed and tanked him for four sixes in one over to bring down the equation in TKR's favour. All of them crossed 100 meters.  TKR won the game by six wickets.

Sunil Narine picked up 3-24 in his four overs

Pollard ended up with an unbeaten 37 off 16 balls with five sixes. He got wonderful support from the other end from Andre Russell who cracked an unbeaten 23 off 8 balls with two fours and two sixes.  For TKR, Sunil Narine was the best bowler as he picked up 3-24 in his four-over spell. Dwyane Bravo took 2-43 in his four overs.

For SNP Bosch took 3-22 in his three overs spell. Blessing Muzarabani took 1-30 in his three-over spell. Pollard has been with TKR for a long time and is from Trinidad and Tobago. The big burly right-hander has also enthralled the Indian audiences in the Indian Premier League (IPL). TKR with this win have got off the mark in CPL 2023.

Although the CPL has had some games that have been rained out, whenever the games have been played fully they have produced outstanding cricket and great results in the West Indies. The CPL has given a lot of young talent to West Indies Cricket.
