Watch: Jofra Archer reacts to an old video of a mother risking her life to save her child

A mother is the most beautiful gift of God to a child. She can go to extreme limits to make her child happy. That's why is it said that there is heaven beneath the mother's feet. Recently, a video of a courageous mother went viral.

The video is of a motorbike accident in the year 2019. In the video, a lady and her child fell off the bike when it hits the car. After falling, the child and its mother were going towards an incoming truck and it looked like the duo will be crushed under it.

However, the mother rolled over, grabbed the child and saved his life while saving herself as well in the process. After a few seconds, the motorbike rider with whom she was travelling stopped to check on her. Thankfully, all were safe, tricking death by a whisker. The car, which hit them while overtaking them didn't stop and kept on moving. Meanwhile, England pacer Jofra Archer, who saw the video on Twitter, reacted to it and commented 'Mother of the year'

Talking about Archer, he has been out of action since the India tour in early 2021. At that time, he arrived in India for the multi-format comprising four Tests, followed by five T20Is and three ODIs. During the T20I series, the Barbados-born sustained an elbow injury which ruled him out of the ODIs.

Since then, his team hosted New Zealand and India at home for the Tests. Further, they went on to play the Ashes in Australia. However, Archer was not included in the squads due to injury. In all the series, England managed to win only one game. A couple of months back, a video of him training surfaced on the internet, fuelling rumours of Archer's return. However, that was not the case to be. 

 Notably, Mumbai purchased Archer in the mega auction for Indian T20 League 2022 despite knowing that the pacer will not be available for the 2022 season. The team, after signing Archer, said that they are trying to build a team for a longer run. Mumbai have lost all of their games in the 15th season of the tournament so far.
