Ahead of the series, the captains of both the teams, Hardik Pandya and Kane Williamson posed for a pre-series. Meanwhile, Kiwi skipper Kane Williamson’s brilliant athleticism was seen during the photoshoot with his Indian counterpart Hardik Pandya.

A heavy breeze happened to shake the table on which the trophy was placed. The trophy was about to go down due to the impact of the breeze; Williamson showed his reflexes and prevented it from getting damaged. Subsequently, the 32-years old humorously claimed that he owns the trophy at the moment.

"I'll have that! (laughs),” said the Kiwi skipper.

This banter from Kane made Hardik Pandya and other individuals around there laugh. Notably, the Indian side will be eyeing to get out of their previous outing in the 20-20 World Cup 2022.
