When the Turbanator slapped Sreesanth after a game in 2008, it garnered a lot of attention for both Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth. The two have avoided the subject numerous times, even though the precise cause of their nasty altercation has not been made public.

When word spread that the two ex-Indian cricketers would participate in the commentary team for the current Indian Premier League season, the two former players became a social media trend again. The supporters did share their worries about another incident between the two that was similar, though.

In the most recent event, India's star player Rishabh Pant posted a video of Harbhajan and Sreesanth fighting again after a 15-year break on his Twitter account.

The fans shouldn't panic, though, since this was intended to promote the food delivery service Zomato. Notably, the business has launched a new marketing campaign to improve the pronunciation of its name. Pant uploaded the video for marketing while still serving as a brand ambassador for Zomato. Here is the latest Zomato commercial with Sreesanth and Harbhajan in it.

Even Zomato shared the same video, referencing the 2008 event with the slap gate. "From 2008 to 2023, some things never change," Zomato stated. On numerous times, Sreesanth has supported Harbhajan's activities and even referred to him as a friend.

Zomato has launched a campaign highlighting how people mispronounce their brand name, including cricket players Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth. The clip, conceptualised by the brand's internal staff, features the players who got into a legendary on-the-ground altercation in a lift. A Zomato delivery man leaves just before Singh enters the lift Sreesanth is already in.

When Singh says, "learn how to deliver things on time through Zomato," he irritates Sreesanth. The two then start arguing over how to pronounce Zomato properly. The ad concludes by saying that the brand aims to provide timely food, regardless of how customers pronounce its name.

Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth have made significant progress since that unpleasant episode in 2008. Off the pitch, the two cricket players get along and greet one another pleasantly. During the IPL 2023 season, Harbhajan & Sreesanth are working as cricket analysts.
