Fans across India and Pakistan are eagerly waiting for the much-anticipated encounter of the 20-20 World Cup 2022 between the two teams. Melbourne Cricket Ground of Melbourne is set to host this match between the two South Asian giants. Although, apart from the action of the match, a lot of stuff between the fans and cricketers of both countries is surfacing out of the field.

Recently, a video has gone viral in which star Pakistani wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan can be seen in fun banter with Indian fans. A fan happened to ask Rizwan to hit a six during the net session. Whereas the reply from the Pakistan batter went very funny with the people on the social media

“Ham India se aaye hai, ek chakka maar do (We are here from India, please hit a six),” said the Indian fan to Mohammad Rizwan.

The reply from Rizwan to this request from the fan left everyone in a laugh there.

“India mein aayenge toh waha dikha denge (Will show you when we’ll come to India),” replied Rizwan.

Later, Rizwan took some pictures with the Indian fans amidst tension between the Indian cricket Board and Pakistan cricket Board following the statement of Secretary Jay Shah on the possibility of India touring Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023.

Notably, both teams locked horns in the Asia Cup 2022 in two instances winning and losing one each in the group stage and super-4 round respectively. It will be the third T20I clash between both teams during the calendar year of 2022. Speaking of the 20-20 World Cup, both teams locked horns with each other in the group match of last year’s edition of the 20-20 World Cup.

It was the very match when Pakistan managed to break the winning streak of India against them in the World Cup matches. The men in green outplayed the Indians by a massive margin of 10 wickets.
