WATCH: Fight breaks out during Celebrity Cricket League in Bangladesh

Verbal spat in a cricket game has been a feature over the years. However, in what was probably one of the rare instances, a physical fight broke out. In one of the Celebrity Cricket League games in Bangladesh, a fight broke out between two teams. The league started to create some spark among the fans before their national side starts their upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 campaign.

However, as it turned out, the teams fought each other over a boundary not given by the umpires. During the incident, some players have been reported to be injured due to the brawl.

As reported by Bangladeshi media, Dhaka Tribune, actor Monir Hossain Shimul, a member of Dipanka’s team, said that their opponent brought outsiders to beat them. “They brought outsiders who started attacking us. What kind of a CCL match is this?,” he said.

“Raz Bhai’s team initiated the attack, bringing in outsiders. One of our players was assaulted, and Mousumi Hamid got injured,” said actor Joy Chowdhury, another player from the same team.
