WATCH: Famous Hollywood actor calls Virat Kohl his ‘favourite cricket player’

Virat Kohli is currently busy playing in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. However, he had a disappointing start to the tournament as Kohli scored just four runs against Pakistan. Against Nepal, he did not get any opportunity to bat. But, he is known as one of the best batters in the world and has a huge fanbase all around the globe.

Now, a video has gone viral on social media where the famous Hollywood actor, Jack Black was seen claiming Virat Kohli his favourite cricket player. He said: "Virat Kohli is my favourite cricket player, he is the Michael Jordan of cricket." Black is a famous American actor, comedian, and musician. He is known for his roles in several family and comedy films.

Speaking about Kohli, he is currently the number 10-ranked batter in ODIs. But, still, the former Team India skipper has a huge fanbase despite some recent dip in his form. However, he will still be crucial for the Men in Blue in this ongoing tournament and for the upcoming ODI World Cup in India. Over the years, across all three formats, Kohli has shown his importance and come up with some epic performances for the team.

Recently while speaking on the YouTube show Backstage with Boria on RevSportz, the former Australia international and Team India head coach, Greg Chappell shared that if Virat Kohli can manage to keep himself mentally fresh for the upcoming ODI World Cup, then he will have a great event. Chappell said: “I have no doubt that Virat is in that stage of his career and hence it requires a special effort to score runs. And for that you need to decompress yourself and just keep it simple. Virat also needs to go into these games mentally fresh and he knows what he needs to do for that. If Virat can achieve that, he will have a very good tournament.”
