Star Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated all-rounders in Women’s cricket. She has played a crucial role in the success of the Aussie women’s team on several occasions in her career of almost 15 years since she made her debut in the year 2008.

Currently, Perry is in action with the Australian team in the ongoing white-ball assignment against Pakistan women’s cricket team. Meanwhile, a video is making rounds on social media in which young Pakistan all-rounder Fatima Sana can be seen making an effort to meet and talk to her childhood idol and veteran all-rounder Ellyse Perry.

The video has been posted on the official Twitter handle of the Australian Women’s cricket team. In the video, Sana is making a request to Australian player Jessica Jonassen to make a talk possible with Ellyse Perry after the conclusion of the third and last of the three-match ODI series.

“Can I talk to Perry?” asked nervous and anxious Sana to which Jonassen replied that she can approach Perry in the similar way she came to Jonassen.

“Do you look up to Ellyse?” asked Jonassen subsequently in the conversation.

“Do you look up to Ellyse?” replied Sana with an innocent smile on her face.

Later on, Fatima also posted a photo with Ellyse Perry on Twitter and captioned it with a quote from Bo Jackson “Set your goals high, and don’t stop till you get there."

Speaking of the series between Pakistan Womenand Australia Women, both teams will now lock horns in the first of the three-match T20I series at the North Sydney Oval in Sydney on Tuesday, the 24th of January.

Earlier, both teams locked horns in the three-match ODI series against each other in which two matches were played in Brisbane followed by the last ODI in Sydney. The series between the women in green and Meg Lanning’s girls will conclude with the third and last T20I of the series on Sunday, the 29th of January at the Manuka Oval in Canberra.
