Injury scares for Australia as David Warner, Cameron Green walk-off

It was a day of celebrations and worries for the Baggy Greens as two of their star players walked off due to minor concerns on Day 2. To add more, while the southpaw got retired hurt, Cameron Green, on the other hand, walked back to the pavilion after picking up an injury off Anrich Nortje’s delivery.

However, Travis Head ensured that the Australians remained in the race, eventually pushing the score to 386/3 at stumps on Tuesday, by remaining unbeaten at 48. It remained to be seen if the likes of Green and Warner would make a comeback and finish their innings, although fans opined that it was highly unlikely.

As far as South Africa are concerned, it is a must-win game for the team to stay in the summit clash race of the Test championship. Given that India are just a series away from sealing the finals spot, the Proteas would look to make a comeback the next day and seal the game on the remaining days.
