Dewald Brevis, the South African youngster, is creating silent havoc in the cricketing world with his thundering skills.

The Mumbai team is already banking on him for the future in the Indian T20 League. However, at such a young age, Dewald Brevis has made his mark in the Caribbean Premier League 2022. Playing for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, the youngster from the Proteas team did wonders against Trinbago Knight Riders

In match 26 played on Thursday (September 22) between the two teams, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots were 112 for 4 at the end of eighteen overs. Brevis had to face three balls in the over and he smacked all of them to the crowds. In the final over, the youngster faced two balls and hammered them to maximums again. 

Dewald Brevis ended up hammering five consecutive sixes off the five legal deliveries that he faced. The Protea Fire teen amassed thirty runs off just six balls that he faced in the innings. Let’s take a look at the video:

Dewald Brevis helps St Kitts and Nevis Patriots clinch a win

Speaking of the match, St Kitts and Nevis Patriots decided to bat first and got off to a poor start. The Caribbean Premier League 2022 has seen a lot of low-scoring games and this match could have gone that way as the team managed to amass only 20 runs in the powerplay. 

However, Dewald Brevis came in at number six and did the magic for St Kitts and Nevis Patriots to power the team to 163. It was all about the South African and his patriotic team as they carried on the momentum in the second innings as well. 

Speaking of the chase, Trinbago Knight Riders amassed 33 runs in the powerplay and looked confident. However, Rashid Khan and Kevin Sinclair pulled things off for their team and the batters had so much to do in the death. St Kitts and Nevis Patriots were badly in need of a win in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League.

The Patriots pulled off a thriller as they won the match by seven runs.
