Karachi Kings are going through a hard time in the ongoing Pakistan Super League. The team is yet to win a game in their five outings and are tottering at the bottom of the points table. They endured yet another mediocre outing in their last game against Islamabad United as they lost the match by 42 runs.

To be fair, there was not much to talk about Karachi Kings in the match as they played way below the expectations. However, there was one instance that gave Karachi fans something to cheer about.

Karachi Kings skipper Babar Azam took arguably the best catch of the ongoing season. Asif Ali tried to loft a delivery over extra cover but couldn’t time the ball properly. Baar Azam, who was standing at covers, then ran back and took a one-handed stunner.

Islamabad United won the toss and opted to bat. They got off to a good start but the runs were not easy to come by. Handy knocks by Paul Stirling, Alex Hales and Shadab Khan helped them to 177-6 in 20 overs. In reply, Karachi’s inning never got going as they could only make 135-9.

Speaking about the points table, Multan Sultans are sitting comfortably at the top with five wins in as many games. They are followed y Islamabad United, (3 wins in 5 games), Lahore Qalandars ( 3 wins in 4 games), Peshawar Zalmi (2 wins in 5 games), Quetta Gladiators (1 win in 4 games) and Karachi Kings
