The 43-year-old tweeted something similar for the season opener between MI and RCB as well

Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals will lock horns in a high-voltage clash at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. As the two teams gear up for the match, former Indian batsman and Punjab Kings batting coach Wasim Jaffer took to his official Twitter handle to predict the two top performers from today’s game.

However, instead of revealing the names of the two players to watch for during the CSK vs DC clash, Jaffer, who is known for his wit and humour, gave hints to the fans and asked them to guess the names. “Picking 2 players to watch out for tonight. I’ll reveal the names in the evening, but let’s see how many decode it before that” Wasim Jaffer posted.

The first part of the picture contains a part of rapper Divine’s famous song “3:59 AM” while the second part refers to the popular sitcom “Friends.” The 43-year-old tweeted something similar for the season opener between MI and RCB too. He posted a picture of a flamingo bird to indicate towards the New Zealand pacer Trent Boult. However, contrary to Jaffer’s prediction, RCB’s Harshal Patel took five wickets with the ball, leading RCB to an impressive victory.

Coming to Wasim Jaffer’s tweet for CSK and DC, many cricket enthusiasts have arrived at the conclusion that Wasim Jaffer is talking about Capitals’ opening batsman Prithvi Shaw as the 21-year-old had shared a part of the song on his Instagram story after he was mercilessly trolled for his performance in IPL 2020.

The fans found the second part a little tough, however, some were able to decode that Wasim is referring towards CSK’s young all-rounder Sam Curran. Notable, a few days back Curran was seen wearing a headband and shades while out on the field and looked similar to the picture of the soft toy Hugsy, shared by the PBKS coach.
