Former India opener Wasim Jaffer has taken a dig at cricketer-turned-expert Michael Vaughan. England were all out for 68 runs in the second inning of the third Ashes at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). The visitors were blown away by debutant Scott Boland, who picked up stunning six wickets in just four overs in the second inning.
Jaffer, who never leaves an opportunity to troll Vaughan, was again at his witty best. He gently remained Vaughan of a Tweet he posted back in 2019.
Vaughan had trolled India for getting bowled out under 100. India were bundled out for 92 in the fourth ODI against New Zealand. "92 all-out India... Can't believe any team would get bowled out for under a 100 these days !!!!!!."

Earlier, Vaughan had suggested England to play ruthless cricket rather than being too friendly with the opposition. "I see on the morning of the game they are all talking to Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon. I never had a conversation with Steve Waugh back in the day. I wouldn't have dared go and speak to Glenn McGrath on the morning of the game or Shane Warne. You just didn't," Vaughan told Fox Cricket.
"It's all a bit friendly. I'd get nasty with them They somehow need to find that on day one. Get into the scrap. Chirp, do whatever, just get into the scrap,” he added.
England though have hardly managed to put up a fight in the three Test matches so far. The visitors would be hoping to make a bright start in 2022.
