Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer is back with a hilarious Tweet. Jaffer is known for his humour and sarcasm and is one of the most active members on social media. This time in a witty and creative manner, he has appreciated the performance of the Bangladesh team in the ongoing first Test match against New Zealand. The visitors are on the cusp of creating history after taking complete control of the first Test at the end of Day 4. The hosts are placed 147 - 5, leading by just 17 runs.
Bangladesh need just five wickets to bundle out New Zealand for a low score. If they manage to achieve that and chase the required target, then this will be their first Test victory in New Zealand. Sensing the enormity of the occasion, Jaffer posted a collage of two pictures.
In the first one, a man is standing and watching things unfold. He is bemused by the performance of the Bangladesh team. In the second picture, he used a meme from Mirzapur to sum up the feelings of Indian fans. Notably, New Zealand have been a thorn in India's flesh. They defeated India in the Test championship final and backed it up with another win in the 20-20 World Cup. They had also defeated them in 2019 50 Over World Cup.

Bowling first, Bangladesh restricted New Zealand to just 328 in the first innings. In reply, Bangladesh batted superbly in the first innings and posted a mammoth total of 458. Skipper Mominul led the charge by scoring 88. Wicketkeeper-batter Liton Das also contributed by scoring a classy 86. There were also handy contributions from Shanto, Mehidy Hasan, and Mahmudul Hasan Joy.
New Zealand managed to nullify the lead by losing just two wickets. However, a late collapse in the day saw them reduce to 147 for 5
