It would be a story to cherish for senior domestic pacer Jaydev Unadkat as he has made a comeback to the Indian team after a long wait of 12 years. It was the year 2010 when Jaydev Unadkat made his Test debut for the Indian team in Centurion Test on the 16th of December.

Since then, he couldn’t get a chance to play for India in Test cricket and that was the only Test to his name in his entire international cricketing career. But the consistent performance in the domestic performance and perseverance has paid off for Unadkat and he is now back in the Test squad of India.

The Indian cricket fans are also reacting to this amazing comeback story of Jaydev Unadkat after waiting for more than a decade. They took to Twitter to appreciate the 31-year-old for his amazing comeback and for scalping his maiden Test wicket 12 years after the debut.

Talking about the action of the first day of the second Test, the hosts Bangladesh are batting first after winning the toss. Bangladesh scored 82 runs for the loss of two wickets. Mominul Haque and skipper Shakib Al Hasan are there in the middle with individual scores of 23 and 16 runs respectively.

Earlier, senior bowlers Ravichandran Ashwin and Jaydev Unadkat scalped the first two wickets for India.

Notably, the visitors are leading the series by a margin of 1-0 with a win in the first Test match against Bangladesh.

Coming back to Jaydev Unadkat’s selection in the team, the fans are also furious on the management for omitting Kuldeep Yadav despite a brilliant performance in the first test of the series. The 28-year-old wrist spinner won the ‘player of the match award for scalping a total of eight wickets in the match including an amazing five-for in the first innings of the match.
