The Delhi batter is on the second spot in the list of highest run-scorers in the shortest format of the game. He is just behind his fellow teammate and current Indian skipper Rohit Sharma. Kohli is consistently playing T20I cricket for India since his debut in the format 12 years back in 2010.

So, Kohli has a good chance to surpass the 35-year-old to secure the first spot in the list of highest scorers of the shortest format. Following Kohli, New Zealand batter Martin Guptill is in the third spot with 3497 runs in 121 matches.

The second man on this list is none other than the Indian skipper and senior batter Rohit Sharma who has 337 fours to his name in T20I cricket. Following Rohit, comes the former Indian skipper Virat Kohli who has smashed 331 fours and is just 13 away from Stirling to become the number-one batter in the same discipline.

He finds it very smooth to tackle the bouncy tracks of Australia and play some crucial knocks for the Indian team when require very necessary.
In T20Is, he has featured in 11 games so far for the men in blue and scored 451 runs with a sensational average of 64.42. Three batters including the likes of Iftikhar Ahmed, Asela Gunaratne, and JP Duminy have a better average in the same format than the former Indian skipper.
