Warner was under a lot of pressure before entering his farewell Test series against Pakistan on 14 December. The southpaw was criticised by his former teammate Mitchell Johnson for his poor form in Test cricket and getting a "hero's send-off". The 37-year-old, however, shut all his critics with a sensational 164 off 211 balls in the first innings of the opening Test in Perth. The knock set the tone for Australia's 360-run win in the game and two more comprehensive victories in the series.

Warner has not scored a century since January 2020 and questions were raised about his place in the Australian Test XI. However, in a display of resilience and determination, he broke the deadlock in his 100th Test match against South Africa. A bowling attack featuring Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, and Marco Jansen, could not stop Warner. Australia won by an innings and 182 runs on the back of Warner's 200 off 254 balls, Alex Carey's maiden Test ton and Cameron Green's five-wicket haul.

3. 180 vs India (2012)

Warner made a huge statement during the 2012 Test match against India at the WACA in Perth. The left-hander scored 180 off 159 balls, including 23 fours and 5 sixes, showing his ability to dominate even on a challenging pitch. This impressive knock gave Australia 269 runs in their first innings and eventually helped them beat the visitors by an innings and 37 runs.

Warner's first double century came against New Zealand at the WACA in Perth in 2015. The New South Welshman's 253 and Usman Khawaja's brilliant 121 helped Australia to post a massive first-innings score of 559. The Black Caps replied in style with 624 runs after Ross Taylor smashed 290 and Kane Williamson scored 166. However, all individual milestones went in vain as the high-scoring encounter ended in a draw.
