MS Dhoni has been enjoying a good IPL season so far as the leader of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). CSK are currently in the second spot with 13 points in 11 games. They will take on Delhi Capitals (DC) at their home ground in the next match on 10 May 2023. But, now a video has gone viral from the 41st match of the tournament.

In that clash, CSK locked horns with Punjab Kings (PBKS) at Chepauk. However, PBKS won that match by four wickets on the last ball of the match. But, now in the viral video, an MS Dhoni doppelganger has been observed, and seeing that, fans went surprised and shared their views on social media.

Speaking of the match, CSK batted first and scored 200 runs for four wickets in 20 overs. Devon Conway was the highest scorer with 92* runs off 52 balls, including 16 fours and one six. But, in reply, PBKS batters put up a combined effort and chased down the target with four wickets to spare. However, Conway still won the Player of the Match award. 

After the loss, MS Dhoni said: “We lost it in a couple of overs in the middle. You need to be aware what you need to bowl and be clear because the batters will be going for it. Also towards the end of our innings, could we have got 10 more? Because our bowling needs exposure, and we should be doing better with the bat. The pitch had turn, there was some turn when it hit the seam. The slower balls gripped. I think 200 was par but we bowled two bad overs. Pathirana bowled well but other than that, we need to see if the plans were wrong or the execution was bad.” 

However, MS Dhoni has been having an impactful season with the bat with his all short and impactful cameos so far. In IPL 2023, he has scored 76 runs in 10 matches, at an average of 76 and a strike rate of 200.
