When it comes to trolling, Indians are a notch above the rest. This time on the receiving end is Australian skipper Tim Paine, who recently said that Australia were undone by India’s sideshows during the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Paine pointed out that Indians are good at niggling and distracting the opposition. The comments from the Australian skipper didn’t go down well with the Indian fans who started trolling the wicket-keeper for his poor comments.
Fans criticized Paine for his irresponsible comments and suggested that the Australian skipper should own up to the loss rather than giving weird reasons. Many pointed out that India weren’t playing their full strength squad as many of their players were ruled out due to injuries yet they ended up winning the series. Some users also shared clips of Paine’s antics, where he can be seen sledging the Indian batsmen.
Tim Paine is still in gabba trauma.
Why do these ausies are so salty about losing.— jasmine (@TiredOfProcess) May 13, 2021
Opposition even complain about pitches, but not once have we seen India complain, be it Kohli or Shastri.

This from Tim Paine seems like a fairly unconvincing explanation for why 🇦🇺 lost another home test series to 🇮🇳: they bamboozled us with distractions!
Also pretty insulting to your own players.
Why can’t you just say 🇮🇳 played better than us and leave it at that? https://t.co/vxVun9eoAn

Tim Paine's popularity fell off a cliff last year. The latest comments are burying the last shred of reputation he has.
Apparently India are "very good at creating sideshows".

Despite losing several of their key players and getting bowled out for 36 in the first Test, Indians didn’t give up and roared back in the series to clinch the Melbourne and Brisbane Test. Indian youngsters like Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant, Hanuma Vihari, Mohammed Siraj, Shardul Thakur and Washington Sundar stood up to the occasion and took India to their second consecutive Test series win on the Australian soil.
