For those of you who are unaware, David Miller went unsold in the first round of the Indian T20 League 2022. The South African cricketer, however, was eventually bought by Gujarat for INR 3 crore. Little did the fans know how he was going to play in the tournament.

Miller has played a massive role in taking Gujarat to the final. He played a match-winning knock of 68 runs in 38 balls in the qualifier 1 match against Rajasthan. Overall, he scored 449 runs in 15 matches at 64.14. Given how the last few seasons in the tournament went for Miller, not a lot of people expected him to perform so well for the team.
