Under the leadership of a new skipper in Shreyas Iyer, Kolkata started its campaign on a great note. However, their performance saw a deep later into the tournament and the franchise suffered a string of defeats.

Finch could only manage to score 86 runs in 5 matches at an average of 17.2 Finch failed to give solid starts to the team and is likely to go unsold next year in the mini-auction.

Billings was inconsistent with his batting performances. He didn’t do justice to the role of an enforcer in the middle order and the team management might look out for some other options next year. He scored 169 runs in 8 matches at a strike rate of 122.46.
