Yuvraj Singh’s tweet came after Jos Buttler’s fielding effort in the 12th over of the Gujarat’s innings. Standing at long on, Jos Buttler ran towards his right to stop the ball reaching the boundary ropes. Buttler covered good ground and it looked like his diving effort has stopped the ball reaching the rope. However, the Englishman wasn’t too sure and he told the on-field umpire to check it with the third umpire. As it turned out, it was a four as his hands had touched the boundary ropes.

To that, Yuvraj Singh heaped praise on Buttler but also added that other players, especially his teammates should learn from him. Apparently, he took a dig at Ashwin, who mankaded Buttler in the 2019 edition of the Indian T20 League.

Yuvraj’s remark didn’t go down too well with the fans, who criticized the former for that. Here are some of the reactions from the fans following Yuvraj’s tweet.
