'That's why he is still not playing test' - Fans come up with mixed reactions after Rahul Dravid's 'he didn't watch me bat' remark for Suryakumar Yadav

After the one-man show in the third and last of the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, the star Indian batting sensation and World number one T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav engaged in a banter full of fun with the Indian head coach Rahul Dravid. Interestingly, Suryakumar Yadav and former legendary batter Rahul Dravid are two batters of a completely different caliber.

While interviewing SKY, head coach and former specialist Test batter Rahul Dravid came up with a very funny one-line while introducing the former on air.

"I have someone here with me, who I am sure, as a young kid, didn't watch me bat. And I hope you did. Surya, exceptional. Just the form you have been in. Every time, I think I haven't seen a better T20 inning, you show us something even better," said Dravid while starting the conversation with the 32-year-old Indian batting prodigy.

This conversation between Rahul Dravid and Suryaumar Yadav was posted by the Indian Cricket Board the next morning after the conclusion of the third T20I between India and Sri Lanka. As soon as the video went viral on social media. The fans also made their way to the comment section of the video tweet and come up with some mixed reactions to Rahul Dravid’s remarks for the Mumbai batter.

Now, the men in blue under the captaincy of regular skipper Rohit Sharma will take on Sri Lanka in the upcoming ODI series. The three-match 50-over assignments will commence on Tuesday, the 10^th of January.

Earlier, under the captaincy of stand-in skipper Hardik Pandya, the second-string Indian team outplayed the Islanders by a margin of 2-1 in the recently concluded three-match T20I series.

Following the conclusion of the ODI series against Sri Lanka, the Indians will host New Zealand in the three-match T20I series followed by a three-match ODI series.
