MS Dhoni is known for all the affection and love that fans have always showered on him throughout his career while playing for both the country and franchise. Now, on 7 July 2023, Dhoni celebrated his 42nd birthday and now, he shared a glimpse of that celebration on social media.

Dhoni was seen cutting a cake and then, giving those pieces to his four pet dogs. Seeing that adorable moment, fans shared their views on social media. However, MS Dhoni left his fans relieved after he announced that he is most likely to play one more season for CSK for his fans after winning the tournament this year.

After the IPL final, Dhoni said: “If you circumstantially see, it's the best time to announce the retirement. The easy thing for me to say is thank you and retire. But the hard thing to do is to work hard for nine months and try to play one more IPL season. The body has to hold up. But the amount of love I have received from CSK fans, it would be a gift for them to play one more season.”

After that, he went under a successful knee surgery as he played the whole IPL 2023 with a knee injury. Many videos and images went viral where Dhoni was seen having moments with fans and others after the surgery. Recently, in an interaction, the former Team India player, Wasim Jaffer claimed that Dhoni used to have Pepsi during the drinks break. 

He said: “During the drinks break, MS Dhoni used to sip Pepsi. It is not permitted. In terms of fitness, it contains a lot of sugar, and athletes are normally recommended to avoid it. Dhoni, on the other hand, had no qualms about downing a can of Pepsi or Coke on a daily basis. That’s exactly the type of person he was. Even when playing at the international level, under extreme pressure, he never veered from his routine. That is what I admire most about him.”
