Now, the latest reports have learned something very alarming about the Delhi skipper in the Indian T20 League. A report in the News18 Cricketnext has understood that Pant might miss international cricket for the period of the next 18 months.

“We need to understand that he is a keeper so his movements – regular squatting, sideways movements and all – put a lot of loads on the knee. We can’t rush with it and it is going to take a lot of time,” said a reliable Indian Cricket Board source to the News18 Criciketnext. The source further added that Pant might miss next year’s 20-20 World Cup 2024 as well which is to be held in the USA.

The news has left cricket fans shocked and disappointed and they took to Twitter to express their concern over the same. Fans also wished a speedy recovery for the young southpaw.
