A total of three games took place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium on the second day (January 29) of the ongoing Abu Dhabi T10 League. In the first game of the day, Pune Devils were up against Qalandars before Maratha Arabians and Delhi Bulls locked horns in the second game. The third and final game of the day saw Deccan Gladiators fighting it out against Team Abu Dhabi.

Pune Devils vs Qalandars:
Having started their campaign with a win, Pune Devils tasted their first defeat of the season on Friday when Qalandars thrashed them by nine wickets. Invited to bat first, Pune Devils rode on Tom Kohler-Cadmore’s fifty to score 107 for 2 in the allotted 10 overs. In reply, it took Qalandars only 7.1 overs to cross the finishing line. Tom Banton set the platform for the chase with a quickfire knock of 45 before Sharjeel Khan and Sohail Akhtar shared an unbeaten stand of 56 runs to take their team home.
Pune Devils 107 for 2 (Tom Kohler-Cadmore 54, Darwish Rasooli 39*; Sultan Ahmed 1-12) lost to Qalandars 108 for 1 (Tom Banton 45, Sohail Akhtar 33; Munis Ansari 1-22) by nine wickets.
Maratha Arabians vs Delhi Bulls:
In the second match of the day, Delhi Bulls beat Maratha Arabians by nine wickets to register their second consecutive win. Asked to bat first, the Arabians could only score 87 for 4 in their stipulated 10 overs. Captain Mosaddek Hossain’s unbeaten knock of 35 was their best effort with the bat. For the Bulls, Amad Butt starred with the ball, conceding just 7 runs while taking one wicket off his 2 overs. With the bat, the Bulls chased down the total in 5 overs with Evin Lewis slamming an unbeaten 55 off just 16 balls.
Maratha Arabians 87 for 4 (Mosaddek Hossain 35*, Javed Ahmadi 24; Amad Butt 1-7) lost to Delhi Bulls 89 for 1 (Evin Lewis 55*, Ravi Bopara 28*; Yamin Ahmadzai 1-12) by nine wickets.
Deccan Gladiators vs Team Abu Dhabi:
In the final game of the day, Deccan Gladiators beat Team Abu Dhabi by six wickets to open their account in the tournament. Asked to bat first, Team Abu Dhabi kept losing wickets at regular intervals and eventually ended their innings on 95 for 9. Captain Luke Wright top-scored for them, scoring 25. For the Gladiators, Zahoor Khan picked up three wickets. In reply, the Gladiators crossed the finishing line with two balls to spare.
Team Abu Dhabi 95 for 9 (Luke Wright 25; Zahoor Khan 3-13 ) lost to Deccan Gladiators (Cameron Delport 40; Jamie Overton 3-18) by six wickets.
