The World is celebrating international men’s day today, on the 19th of November. On the same occasion, World number one T20I batter and star Indian batting sensation, Suryakumar Yadav received a very beautiful and heartfelt message from his wife Devisha Shetty. The blistering batter’s wife took to her Instagram story for posting a beautiful message for her husband.
The message posted by Devisha on her Instagram for Suryakumar is now going viral over social media. It’s not only the story but the message itself, that made it special for the 32-year-old Indian cricketer.
“I read online, that today is international men’s day. There’s no special day needed to celebrate the amazing person you are, but here’s to you. To the amazing husband, son, brother, friend, and human that I see you are. Love you (heart emoji),” wrote Devisha in her Instagram story alongside a beautiful picture with Suryakumar Yadav.
Responding to the love from their wife, the Mumbai cricketer reshared the post and wrote: “Miss You” with three emojis.
Here’s a look at the Instagram story of Devisha Shetty and Suryakumar Yadav’s response:
Talking about cricket, Suryakumar Yadav is currently with the Indian team to play in the ongoing three-match T20I series followed by a three-match ODI series. SKY reached the top of the batting rankings in the T20 internationals during the 20-20 World Cup 2022. He also ended up in the tournament as the third-highest run-scorer of the tournament following the Dutch opener Max O’Dowd at second and former Indian skipper Virat Kohli at the top spot.
Notably, the senior players of the Indian team including the likes of skipper Rohit Sharma, senior batter, Virat Kohli, and KL Rahul are on a rest from the New Zealand tour and will be back with the team for the Test series against Bangladesh.
In the absence of Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya is the stand-in captain of team India in the three-match T20I series. On the other hand, the senior Indian southpaw Shikhar Dhawan is set to lead the men in blue in the three-match ODI series.
