Suryakumar Yadav's wife celebrates 7th wedding anniversary with adorable Instagram post

Suryakumar Yadav has had a sensational rise to the top of cricket after remaining in the sidelines for much of his younger days. The swashbuckling batter from Mumbai rose to fame with his incredible hitting and out-of-the-box playing style in Indian Premier League.

His batting exploits in the IPL landed him a batting spot in the national side and he never looked back since then. Ever since getting into the team, the 32-year-old made the best of his opportunities and continues to perform at an incredibly high rate.

While many credit his hand-eye coordination for his incredible play, Yadav credits his wife, Devisha Shetty for his change in fortunes. The two married in 2016 following years of dating. Ever since then, Suryakumar Yadav's career has taken a huge leap and has brought him incredibly happy days.

As it seems, the two took marriage vows on the same day and MS Dhoni's birthday seven years ago. On the day of their wedding anniversary, Devisha Shetty posted an adorable post on Instagram with the caption, 'Special day. SaathSaathForever!"

Important year ahead for Suryakumar Yadav and India

Suryakumar Yadav has been named the vice-captain of the India team for the West Indies series. India and West Indies are slated to compete in 2 Tests, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is against West Indies following a disappointing performance in the World Test Championships Final against Australia.

After starting poorly, Yadav came back to form in an incredible manner in the Indian Premier League 2023 season. He made 605 runs in 16 innings for the Mumbai Indians franchise. Sadly for the MI fans, he couldn't take the team to the final, but SKY's comeback to form is certainly good for the national side as well.

Hardik Pandya is slated to lead the team in the T20I against West Indies, Rohit Sharma will lead the Test as well as the ODI side. India is preparing for the ODI World Cup 2023 which is slated to be played in India in the month of October and November.
