He hit a four on the last ball to ensure that the defending champions win their second game of the 2022 edition. The stakes were high as Chennai were playing against their arch-rivals Mumbai.

Despite having retired from international cricket, he showed everyone why he is considered one of the greatest finishers of all time. It is to be noted that the yellow army needed 17 runs to win from the final over. After which, Dhoni ensured that Chennai ended on the winning side
