Suresh Raina reveals his top three T20 batters at the moment; two Indians included

Former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina has unveiled his top three batters in T20 cricket at the moment as he went on to pick one South African player alongside two Indian star players in his list.

Speaking exclusively on Shubhankar Mishra’s YouTube channel, Raina went on to pick Heinrich Klaasen as the best T20 batter at the moment, followed by Indian opening batter Abhishek Sharma and Men In Blue captain Suryakumar Yadav.

"Heinrich Klaasen, Abhishek Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav. Abhishek Sharma hit a hundred against England at Wankhede. Suryakumar Yadav has so many shots in his arsenal," Raina said on Shubhankar Mishra’s YT channel.

Klaasen, who is known for his six-hitting ability and changing the game’s fortunes in the matter of a few balls, stepped down from international cricket earlier in June this year to concentrate on T20 leagues across the globe.

Notably, the South African dashing keeper-batter was retained by the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction. He could score 487 runs from 13 innings in the IPL 2025 season at an average of 44.27 with a century and a half-century.

Speaking about his T20 stats, Klaasen has played 265 T20s, amassing 5927 runs at an average of 31.19 with three centuries and 35 half-centuries at a strike rate of 149.44.

On the other hand, Abhishek Sharma has amassed 535 runs in 17 T20Is at a strike rate of 193.84, including two centuries and two fifties. Moreover, he has accumulated 1,816 runs in 77 IPL matches at a strike rate of 163.01, with one century and nine fifties.

Delving into the details of Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav’s numbers, he has scored 2,598 runs in 83 T20Is at a strike rate of 167.07, including four centuries and 21 half-centuries. He has also accumulated 4,311 runs from 166 IPL games at a strike rate of 148.65, including two centuries and 29 fifties.
