The 18-year old Dewald Brevis impressed one and all with a brilliant short cameo on his debut for Mumbai in the game against Kolkata on Wednesday. He scored 29 quick runs in 19 balls, including two fours and two sixes. He announced his debut in the perfect style, hitting a boundary only in just the second ball of his innings.

Three balls before getting stumped off Varun Chakravarthy, he hit a no-look six that caught everyone's attention. The ball was drifting onto Brevis' pad and he swung his bat to the leg side with his head facing down. He lofted it towards mid-wicket for a six.

The shot took left everyone in awe and Twitterati came up with different reactions to it. 'That No look six by Brevis is best shot of the match," a fan wrote on Twitter.

"That No look six of Dewald Brevis shows the extreme talent he already possesses," another user said.

Meanwhile, Mumbai have had a poor start to their innings as they could only manage less than run a ball in the first 10 overs of their innings. This slow start can have a major impact on the result of the game, and Mumbai might not like that. They already have lost their first two games, and another loss will further dampen their chances of reaching the playoffs.

Although, Suryakumar Yadav's brilliant half-century and 4-ball 16-run cameo from Pollard have Mumbai reach a competitive score of 161 runs in the first innings. It will be interesting to see how Mumbai bowl against a formidable Kolkata batting unit.

Mumbai lost their first match to Delhi by four wickets. They then lost to Rajasthan by a small margin of  23 runs. They have been below par with their performance in all the departments. Mumbai need to step up both with the bat and ball to bounce back in the tournament.
