A magnificent century from Lizelle Lee helped South Africa women beat India women by 6 runs (DL method). Opting to bowl, South Africa jolted India with an early blow as Jemimah Rodrigues was dismissed on the second ball of the match for 0. Poonam Raut and Smriti Mandhana, the two warriors of the 2nd ODI stitched a 64 partnership for the second wicket before the latter departed for 25. Raut managed to put on another solid partnership, this time with the skipper Mithali Raj.

Mignon du Preez joined Lizelle Lee post the departure of Goodall and the duo added 97 runs for the third wicket, putting the final nail in the coffin for India.
Lee ensured that she took South Africa home and remained unbeaten on 132.
