Smriti Mandhana deletes all wedding-related photos from social media after her father and Palash Muchhal hospitalized

The much-awaited Smriti Mandhana-Palash Muchhal wedding came to a screeching halt. The festivities that were going on for the last 3-4 days and were to culminate with the India women’s vice-captain Smriti Mandhana and music composer-singer Palash Muchhal tying the knot on November 23.

However, on the day of the wedding, Shriniwas Mandhana, Smriti's father, was transported to Sarvhit Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Sangli after showing signs of a heart attack. 

Palash was also admitted to a Sangli hospital the next day (November 24) after allegations of sudden health difficulties. According to family sources, Palash is doing well, but Smriti's father is still being monitored.

However, in the midst of these occurrences, Smriti has erased all of her wedding-related Instagram postings, including the engagement announcement and proposal video. The decision, made just a day after their scheduled nuptials was postponed, has aroused much conjecture online.

The unexpected turn of affairs has left many people anxious, especially since the star batter erased her proposal video, which had gone viral just weeks before. She has also removed the engagement announcement video, which was a viral dance routine including her teammates Jemimah Rodrigues, Shreyanka Patil, Radha Yadav, and Arundhati Reddy.

Fans were caught off guard when Smriti subtly revealed her engagement ring at the end of the video, confirming her relationship with Palash. The engagement video is said to have been removed from Smriti's colleagues' individual Instagram pages. 

The primary wedding proposal video is still accessible on Palash Muchhal's Instagram as of this writing. This video shows Palash asking Smriti to marry him at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai, the same location where Team India won the 2025 Women's World Cup championship.

The wedding organizing team also informed that there is no alternate date for the ceremony, which was canceled yesterday.
