Katherine Brunt had the choice to Mankad in a Women's Twenty20 World Cup Group B match between South Africa women and England, but she opted not to run out the non-striker Sune Luus, gaining plaudits on social media.

With South Africa needing just seven runs off the final four balls, the game was on the line for England. In the end, Luss hit a six to seal the game for the Proteas team.

Abdul Qadir was batting with number 11 batter Saleem Jaffar, and Pakistan needed two runs off the last ball of their game against West Indies. Walsh halted just as he was about to deliver the ball.

Even though Jaffar, the non-striker, was inside the crease as Walsh prepared to bowl, he ran down the track. He was left in the middle of it, and Walsh just stared at him with his hands folded. Walsh had the option to run Jaffar out but chose not to.
