Suresh Raina and MS Dhoni have always enjoyed a great bond between them since their playing days. They played together for Team India and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). But, now in a recent interview, Raina opened up about the toughest bowler he has faced in a net session. Surprisingly, he took MS Dhoni’s name.

Listening to that, fans shared their views on social media. He said: “I think Muralitharan and Malinga, but in the nets, it was MS Dhoni. If he got you out in the nets, then you’d not be able to sit with him for one and a half months because he’d keep gesturing and remind how he got you out. He’d bowl off-spin, medium pace, leg spin, everything. In the nets, he would even justify his front foot no-balls (laughs). Wherever he’d get a red cherry in a Test match, he’d go for it. In England, he’d swing it full throttle.”

Suresh Raina played 322 International matches for India

Recently, Raina also introduced a new Indian restaurant in Amsterdam, Netherlands. On Twitter, he wrote: “I am absolutely ecstatic to introduce Raina Indian Restaurant in Amsterdam, where my passion for food and cooking takes center stage! Over the years, you’ve seen my love for food and witnessed my culinary adventures, and now, I am on a mission to bring the most authentic and genuine flavors from different parts of India straight to Europe’s heart. In IPL, he announced his retirement on 6th September 2022. On 15 August 2020, MS Dhoni announced his retirement. After that, on the same day, Raina also announced his retirement from International cricket.
