While speaking about her father, Warne's oldest daughter Brooke broke down. She spoke about regretting the fact that her father will never see his children accomplish major milestones such as marriage and kids. This was during the legend's memorial at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). All his children gave emotional speeches at the memorial as they were watched by several fans of the spin king.

Brooke spoke about how much she misses her father already. In what turned out to be a really emotional moment, The 24-year-old stated that she will be the saddest due to the fact that she will never get to wrap her arms around Shane and give him the biggest hug. She called the legend a "shining star".

"I feel like you're on holiday, because you were always working out of Australia, but I know that's not the case. But what makes me the saddest is, I will never get to wrap my arms around you and give you the biggest hug and rest my chin on your chest. We will do you so proud, Dad and we are so proud of everything you have achieved," said Brooke.

"We're going to do what you always told us - try our best and we will try our best to live in a world without you. I will miss grabbing your big wrists and feeling your hands and saying that I have big fat fingers just like you. I will miss our chats just about how big our double chins are and how big our bellies are looking especially after we've just eaten our body weight in cheese, pizza and pasta," she added.

When it comes to Warne's cricketing career, then it would be safe to call him one of the greatest bowlers of all time. He is the second-highest wicket-taker in the history of cricket. Warne has picked 708 and 293 Test and ODI wickets respectively.
