'Shane Warne nahin hai is baar' - Fans react as list of commentators for ODI World Cup revealed

A long list of commentators for the ODI World Cup 2023 has been revealed. Some of them have been World Cup winners too

With only a few days left in the ODI World Cup 2023, the Apex Council has released the list of commentators. Some of them have been World Cup winners themselves (either ODI or T20I). Starting with Ricky Ponting, he won the title thrice (1999 as a player and 2003, 2007 as a captain). Former England skipper Eoin Morgan led the current defending champions in 2019. Shane Watson was also part of the 2007 victory and 2015 edition.

Former Pakistan skipper Ramiz Raja was part of the 1992 World Cup. On the other hand, Ravi Shastri was part of the historic 1983 campaign. Matthew Hayden won it twice in 2003 and 2007. Dinesh Karthik never won an ODI World Cup but did win the T20I WC in 2007. Samuel Badree also had the same luck during his career as he was part of the 2012 T20 World Cup.

The rest of the players never won a World Cup in their respective careers.
