So, fans were hoping for a solid contest between these sides. But, the match got delayed due to rain and fans were waiting eagerly to get the match started while waiting in the stadium. But, finally, at 11 PM, an update came that the match will take place on 29 May 2023, reserve day. Hearing such news, fans shared their views on social media.

GT will be the champion if no match happens tomorrow also

As no game happened on 28 May, a full game is expected to happen on 29 May. However, if rain interrupts again, then officials might look for a five-over match. If that is also not possible then, they will look for a super over. But, if no match happens due to rain, then, GT will be declared the winner as per the rule. GT finished the group stage with 20 points in 14 games at the top spot while CSK finished at second spot with 17 points in 14 games. Hence, for being above the point table, GT will be crowned champions.
