Scott Styris makes a bold prediction about Rajasthan Royals; gets a hilarious response from the franchise

Fans were left in splits after Rajasthan Royals hilariously responded to Scott Styris, who predicted them to miss out on the playoff spot in the IPL 2021. The former Kiwi all-rounder took to Twitter to rank the IPL teams based on his 'Power Rankings'. Styris believes that Rajasthan Royals will finish 6th in the upcoming season. However, he added that if Chris Morris and Jofra Archer regain their fitness, Royals could move up the table.

Replying to Styris’ tweet, the Rajasthan Royals hilariously reverted with a meme from a famous Bollywood movie ‘Welcome’.

The Rajasthan Royals are currently preparing for the 14th edition of the IPL in Mumbai. With every team playing all their matches at neutral venues, Rajasthan will play their initial five games at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. They’ll kick off their IPL campaign against Punjab Kings on April 12.

The Royals had a miserable 2020 season of the IPL and finished at the bottom of the points table. In an attempt to change their fortunes, they picked up ace South African all-rounder Chris Morris for a whopping 16.25 crore, making him the most expensive IPL player. Among the Indian players, Rajasthan Royals secured the services of Shivam Dube for 4.4 crores.

Additionally, they have appointed Sanju Samson as their skipper for the upcoming season. The inaugural champions will be hoping for a better show this time around. However, injury to their ace pacer Jofra Archer will be a major concern for the Royals as they are lacking a quality pace bowling option to accompany Chris Morris. Andrew Tye is most likely to play in the absence of Archer but his recent form has not been that great.
