Sanju Samson unfollows Rajasthan's Twitter handle after admin's meme on him

Rajasthan's social media handle is arguably the most hilarious social media handle any franchise could have. Time and again, they manage to make their followers and fans roll over the floor laughing. Of late, the team has been involved in a lot of pranks with their own players.

Recently, Yuzvendra Chahal was seen Tweeting from the got official account of the franchise. However, things just got serious, as their captain was seemingly disappointed with their recent social media shinanage. Sanju Samson publicly criticized the team for their recent post.

Rajasthan took to Twitter to post a picture of the keeper-batter with a funny filter. It was seemingly an old photo as he was seen wearing Team India's jacket. The admin of Rajasthan's Twitter handle said that the Kerala batter was looking really good.

"Kya khoob lagte ho👀😂" read their Tweet. However, Samson was unimpressed with the same. While quoting their Tweet, he said that it was alright for friends to do this, but not teams. He mentioned that teams need to be professional. His response took all the fans by surprise as they all thought that this was just another prank by the franchise.

"Its ok for friends to do all this but teams should be professional..@rajasthanroyals" read Sanju Samson's Tweet. Thus, his reply instantly went viral. While some fans felt that he did the right, the others felt that he shouldn't have got offended. A few users felt that he could have resolved this matter internally. After this, Samson even unfollowed Rajasthan on Twitter. This again created a lot of speculations.

Many people started to feel that there is a rift between the captain and the franchise. However, this could very well be a prank, or a publicity stunt as such things have happened in the past, at least in the social media world. In the meanwhile, Samson is all set to lead the 2008-champions for the second consecutive season. As the team managed to buy some top-class players during the mega auction, it will be exciting to watch them play this time around.
