Prithvi Shaw recently made headlines when the Bhojpuri actress, Sapna Gill accused the star batter of outraging her modesty. She also filed a complaint at a Mumbai police station. On 15 February 2023, Gill and some other fans attacked Shaw outside of a five-star hotel in Mumbai, as per a complaint filed by Shaw’s friend.
As a result, Police arrested Sapna Gill last week in connection with the attack. But, on 20 February, she got bail and then, Ms. Gill filed the criminal complaint alleging molestation. However, currently, Prithvi Shaw is preparing for the upcoming edition of the Indian T20 League. He will be in action for the Delhi franchise.

Prithvi Shaw was a part of team India that faced the Kiwis in the recent home T20I series
Meanwhile, Shaw managed to get a call in the Indian team for the recent home T20I series against the Kiwis. But, he did not get featured in any one of the three matches. Now, on 4 March 2023, the star batter shared a picture of him with Rahul Tripathi and Sanju Samson in a car. He shared the image on his Instagram story while tagging the other two batters. Speaking about Rahul Tripathi, he played all three games in that T20I series against the Kiwis. In three matches, he scored 57 runs. Rahul will be seen in action for the Hyderabad franchise in the upcoming Indian T20 League season.
On the other hand, Sanju Samson suffered a knee injury during the T20I match against Sri Lanka at home. After that, he got ruled out of the upcoming matches and currently, he is fully fit for making a comeback. He will be seen in action for the Rajasthan franchise in the next edition of the Indian T20 League. However, none of these players have received a call to the team India squad that will face Australia in the upcoming three-match ODI series.
