India and Bangladesh are locking horns in the second of the three-match ODI series at Sher-E-Bangladesh in Mirpur. The hosts’ skipper Litton Das won the flip of the coin and decided to bat first at quite a bit tricky turf of Sher-E-Bangla stadium. The men in blue are struggling a bit in the second ODI of the series against Bangladesh.

Former Indian skipper and senior batter Virat Kohli has failed once again to deliver up to the expectations in the second ODI as well. Notably, Virat also failed in the first ODI as he could score only 9 runs with the bat. In the second match, Kohli could score only 5 runs off 6 balls with the bat.

Speaking of the match so far, the back of a brilliant century from Mehidy Hasan Miraz and a 71-run knock from Mahmudullah helped the Bangladeshi team to post a decent total of 271 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 50 overs. Mehidy-Mahmudullah pair helped Bangladesh to recover from the miserable situation in the match when they lost six wickets only on the score of 69 runs.

At the time of filling of this copy, India has lost their third wicket as Washington Sundar has fallen prey to senior all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan. Currently, India is struggling on 39 runs for the loss of three wickets while chasing the target of 272 runs.
