India and South Africa are currently battling it out in the Boxing Day Test match in Centurion. The Virat Kohli-led team is just six wickets away from securing a memorable win, but the weather could play a huge part in determining which way the match is headed. Barring Day 2 of the Test, the remaining days have not seen rain playing a spoilsport. The Indian fans are hoping that the rain gods stay away from the match on Day 5 as well.

However, according to Accuweather, there is a 65% chance of precipitation during the afternoon session on Day 5 of the Centurion Test. Close to two hours of rain is predicted, with a 39% chance of thunderstorms. Any loss of time will work against India's chances of going 1-0 up in the series.

Meanwhile, India have been dominant so far in the ongoing Test. They have been brilliant with the ball, with Mohammed Shami leading the charge. In the first innings, his five wickets bundled out South Africa to just 197 and gave India a humongous first-innings lead of 130 runs. Shami displayed an exemplary amount of discipline and hardly bowled any loose delivers.

In the second innings as well, he has managed to pick one wicket. At stumps on Day 4, South Africa are 94 for the loss of four wickets. Skipper Dean Elgar is waging a lone battle and is currently unbeaten on 52.

The hosts would be hoping he continue with the same momentum on Day 5. Quinton de Kock and Temba Bavuma are the remaining specialist batters for South Africa. Meanwhile, with the rain predicted in the afternoon, India would be hoping to wrap things up in the morning session. If the visitors’ bowlers fail to get wickets, things could slightly tilt in favour of the hosts, and the Boxing Day Test match could end in a draw.
