Lanka Premier League 2022 is underway in Sri Lanka having some renowned international cricketers across the cricketing world. The tournament has reached its knockout stage having four teams to decide the winner of the third season of the tournament. Kandy Falcons, Jaffna Kings, Colombo Stars, and Galle Gladiators are the four teams who have qualified for the knockouts of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the former Sri Lankan batter Russell Arnold has attracted the headlines with his presence among the fans. The 49-year-old went on to meet the LPL fans in the Fan Zone who surprised the fans with signed gifts and also had some photographs with them.

Speaking of the tournament at the moment, Kandy Falcons will take on Jaffna Kings in the first qualifier whereas Colombo Stars will lock horns with Galle Gladiators in the eliminator of the tournament. The loser of the first qualifier will play against the winner of the eliminator in the second qualifier to decide a finalist against the winning team of the first qualifier.
Eliminator will take place on the same day as the first qualifier whereas the second qualifier of the tournament will be played on the 22nd of December at RPS Stadium in Colombo.
The title clash for the third season will take place on the 23rd of December at the same stadium in Colombo where all matches of the knockout round will be played.
