Rishabh Pant met with a scary accident on December 30, Sunday, on his way back to Delhi from Dehradun in the Narsan border area and the Indian wicketkeeper sustained injuries as his car caught fire after colliding with a divider. The batter was shifted to Dehradun hospital and is undergoing treatment, with the Indian cricket board clearing the air saying that the batter’s condition is stable.
As things stand, the news media outlets and a few others on social media kept sharing images of his injured back, a video of himself after the accident and several such private videos. Anguished by the same, Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, took to Instagram to slam the news outlets for sharing such videos.
Saying that it violates the privacy of someone, Sajdeh claimed that it was an irresponsible act as it would affect the family of those concerned. Further, Sajdeh claimed that those who uploaded the video did it without the consent of the person involved and said that it was insensitivity, without any kind of journalism.
