Meanwhile, there are also the assumptions that regular skipper Rohit Sharma might make a comeback in the second and last Test match of the series. Apart from this, the former Indian batter Ajay Jadeja has come up with a big statement on Rohit’s comeback to the team.

Jadeja went on to advise Rohit Sharma to sit back at home and wait for his injury to recover completely first.

“Tabhi toh bol raha hu Rohit ko bolo ghar me baithne keliye (That is why I suggest Rohit should stay at home). When a player suffers a hand fracture and you cannot hold the bat for about 10 days, even if you recover, you cannot really join the team the very next day. It takes another 1- to 15 days. And we don’t even know the extent of the injury yet. That is why I suggest this. We are looking for a temporary solution and this is the best solution for it,” said Jadeja during a conversation on the Sony Sports Network, the official broadcaster Bangladesh vs India series.

Speaking of the action in the first Test match between Bangladesh and India, the latter batted first after winning the toss and posted a decent total of 404 runs. Following that, riding on the spin brilliance from Kuldeep Yadav, the visitors bundled up Bangladesh only on the score of 150 runs to take a big lead of 254 runs.

Subsequently, Shubman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara shone for India in the second innings with brilliant centuries of 110 and 102 runs respectively.
